The Little Black Cat Company was established in the last few months of 2017. It was a "I want to do something different before I turn 40" effort. The logo and the name were inspired by my late companion of 20 years, Midnight. She was with me my entire adult life and crossed the rainbow bridge in 2018. Her heir to the throne is MiniMe, who spent part of his life outdoors and came inside to snuggle his way into good graces when her spot opened up. I also have a roommate named Rain who prefers I feed her and look at her (but no touching with the monkey hands, plz) only. She lives with me but really belongs to my dad. Last but not least is the resident little bird dog mutt, Brynja. She'll tell you she's helping, but her main skill is getting in the way.
LBCC was meant to be an outlet for my creativity. I'm always making or creating something, and this it's an effort to offload some of the things that I create to keep them from filling up my house floor-to-ceiling. I started doing cons in 2018 and my 'home con' is Cape Comic Con (every April! Be sure to check it out!). Along the way, I have met some amazing people, from fellow vendors to my small handful of repeat folks, some of whom I've gotten to know well enough to call 'friends'.
If you see me at a con local to the tri-state area around the river confluence in the midwest, come look for me! I might be there and I'm always happy to meet a new face. If you'd rather just message me, I'm available on Facebook and Instagram!
